Born February 12 1922 in Dresden is a German graphic designer. He completed his studies in 1936-1939 as an apprenticeship and as a pattern designer. Then he studied from 1947 to 1952 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden with Hans Theo Richter and Joseph Hegenbarth.

Since 1952 he is working as a freelance graphic artist in Dresden and was a member of the Association of Artists of the German Democratic Republic.

Mainly his work is composed of etchings and lithographs, and later woodcuts, pen and pencil drawings mostly of industry views and landscapes. In 1956 German landscape, Staatliche Galerie Moritzburg, Halle/Saale; 1958 and 1962 Art Exhibition of the GDR; 1972, 1974 and 1979 District Art Exhibition in Dresden; and in 1961 Young artists in the German Academy of the Arts.

Nació el 12 de febrero 1922 en Dresden es un diseñador gráfico alemán. Completó sus estudios en 1936-1939 como un aprendíz y diseñador de patrones. Luego estudió desde 1947 hasta 1952 en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Dresden con Hans Richter Theo y José Hegenbarth.
