Born on July 17, 1931 and died in 2003. His first solo exhibition was held in 1951, while his last exhibition was held in 2001. Great creator, always committed to the cause of social justice and politics. All his work is a metaphor that speaks of the pain of the man in the story and how to fight against oppression. It looked to be the voice of the exploited and humiliated for power. Native Americans, African slaves, the nameless crowd and the individual alone with the rifle and money are the protagonists.

He not only contributed from his own work, but was always in the forefront in organizing activities that contribute to democratizing the appreciation and development of art among the poor (for example, the Biennial Marginal). His style draws movement "arte povera" and the New Realism. By making your life a struggle for the ideal, he is recognized as the Don Quixote of Dominican culture.

In 1952 participates in the Biennial of Sao Paulo, Brazil and in 1954 performed a solo show in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. In 1955 and 1956 exhibited in Madrid and visit Miró in Barcelona, Spain. Also made an exhibition in Cairo, Egypt and participates in the Triennial in Rome.

In 1957 he exhibited in Paris and in 1960 exhibited his works in Copenhagen and Rome, also in the event of Latin American Art Paris. In 1966 and 1967 he takes his works to the Neighborhood Bagneau of Paris in Chantillon.

In 1969 again performed their experimental show in Paris. In 1971 he exhibited a solo show in 1974 in Panama and Peru. In that same year he returns to Panama with a poster exhibition. He does three expositions in Venezuela, Spain and Moscow from 1975 to 1976 with the theme "Panama Canal Zone", in 1978 presented an exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas, in 1980 in Bern, Switzerland, in 1982 in The Signs Gallery in New York and in the exhibition "Back to the Table " also in New York, as well as a solo show in Moscow, Russia. In 1983 his work leads to the Grand Palais in Paris and in the Dominican Contemporary Painting Exhibition in Moscow.

Los americanos nativos, los esclavos africanos, la muchedumbre sin nombre y el individuo solamente con el rifle y el dinero son los protagonistas. Su estilo dibuja el movimiento “povera del arte” y el nuevo realismo. Haciendo su vida una lucha para lo ideal, es reconocido como el Quijote de la cultura Dominicana.

Participa 1952 en la Bienal de Sao Paulo, Brasil y en 1954 realizó una exhibición individual en Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. En 1955 y 1956 exhibió en Madrid y en Barcelona, España. También hizo una exposición en El Cairo, Egipto y participa en Roma. En 1957 exhibió en París y en 1960 exhibió sus trabajos en Copenhagen y Roma. En 1966 y 1967 lleva sus trabajos a Bagneau de París en Chantillon. En 1969 otra vez ha realizado su demostración experimental en París.

En 1971 exhibió individual en Panamá y Perú. En el mismo año vuelve a Panamá con una exposición colectiva. Realiza tres exposiciones en Venezuela, España y Moscú a partir de 1975 a 1976 con el tema “Zona del Canal de Panamá”.

En 1978 presentó una exposición en el Museo de Bellas Artes en Caracas, y en el año 1980 en Berna, Suiza. En 1983 su trabajo lo conduce al Palais Magnífico en París y en la exposición pintura contemporánea Dominicana en Moscú.
