Born in Santo Domingo in 1926. In 1948 she was awarded the First Prize in Painting. In the Sixth Biennial of Arts in 1952 she won the Third Prize for Painting. In the V Biennale of Arts in 1950 and the VII Arts Biennial of 1954 she was Awarded the Second Prize for Drawing. She was a resident of the United States.
Also she studied painting together with Gilberto Hernandez Ortega a member of the Group of Four with Jaime Colson, Joseph Gausachs and Clara Ledesma. They are a graduate of the National School of “Bellas Artes” in 1945, having previously received painting lessons from Celeste Woss y Gil and José Gausachs. It is here that she studied with Fernandez Diaz, Elsa Grunning, Marianela Jimenez, Clara Ledesma, Luichy Richiez and Gloria Martinez Montilla.

En la V Bienal de Artes del año 1950 y en la VII Bienal de Artes del año 1954 recibió Segundos Premios de Dibujo. Fue residente de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica.
